What do the different colors represent?

All of our science fair project ideas are categorised under 5 main categories, namely:

  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Earth Science
  • Engineering

When you do a search for a project or browse through our topics, you will see a short summary of all relevant projects. Each project summary is "boxed-up" in a particular color, depending on the main category under which it falls. Look at the examples below. The summary of the project entitled "What is photosynthesis and do plants need sunlight...." is boxed-up in green. On the lower left, you will notice the words Category: Biology > Botany. Because this project falls under the Biology main category, the color is green. This way, at a glance, you will be able to know which main category a particular project belongs to.
