Grounding Our Bodies for Better Sleep | Science Fair Projects | STEM Projects
This science project will explore how connecting our bodies to the ground while we sleep can help restore our natural electric balance. It could help reduce pain, infections, sleeping disorders, and stress.

Hypothesis

The hypothesis is that participants will exhibit lower levels of stress, and pain in their bodies, and sleep better when sleeping on a grounded mat.

Method & Materials

You will need 10 male and 10 female participants with known sleep disorders, body aches and stress, and 20 grounded mats. Participants will rate their ailments on a scale from 1 to 10, and then sleep on the grounded mats for 10 days. After the 10 days, they will rate their conditions again.
You will need 10 male and 10 female participants with known sleep disorders, body aches and stress, and 20 grounded mats.

Results

The results showed that after sleeping on the grounded mats, both male and female participants were able to sleep better, experience less body aches and stress. This proves that grounding our bodies while we sleep can help reduce pain, infections, sleeping disorders, and stress.

Why do this project?
