| The purpose of this experiment is to determine the effect of different carbohydrates on the amount of C02 produced in yeast fermentation. If yeast can break down table sugar, a disaccharide, into two molecules of monosaccharides (D-glucose and D-fructose), and ferment those monosaccharides, then it can ferment other disaccharides and monosaccharides. | ||
