NOUN - Disc jockey- a person who plays and mixes music,usually pre-recorded, at nightclubs, over the radio, and/or, as a backup musician for spoken word, or hip hop performers, also known as MCs(master of ceremony,microphone controller).DJs use a mixture of playback equipment, usually including turntables, CD/Cassette players, microphones, amplifier and speakers, mixing boards, and in a nightclub, lighting controller as well
VERB - the act of dj-ing, playing , cutting and mixing/blending music for enjoyment of listening audience
