École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr
The École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr (ESM, "Special Military School of St Cyr") is the foremost French military academy. It is often referred to as Saint-Cyr.
Founded by Napoleon in 1802, and initially located in Saint-Cyr l'École, it was moved to Coëtquidan (Brittany) in 1945.
