106 Century FM a regional radio station broadcasting to the East Midlands. Based in Nottingham, it is owned by the Capital Radio Group as part of its 'Century Network'.
It has been disbanded from the Radio Station Association because of innappropriate material posted on its website, and a racial joke played on the air.
In December 2004, industry newspaper Broadcast reported that Capital are interested in divesting the station so that it could acquire another station in the same geographical area. GMG Radio are one of the potential buyers of the station.
