1941 Atlantic hurricane season
The 1941 Atlantic hurricane season was an ongoing event in the annual cycle of tropical cyclone formation. It officially began on June 1, 1941 and ended on November 30, 1941.
The 1941 season was a relatively normal one. The most notable storm of the season was a Category 3 hurricane that struck south Florida. Fortunately, most of the storm's strongest winds roared through the fairly uninhabited Everglades, but as it was, major flooding occurred in towns along the Everglades.
As for the rest of the season, another Category 3 struck Nicaragua and Honduras. A Category 1 struck the central Texas coast. A tropical storm struck north Texas, and another tropical storm hit a sparsly populated area of north Florida.
