Overview
The rebuilt Wembley Stadium is due to open. It should be ready for the FA Cup final in May.
Two clubs in The Football League are scheduled to open new grounds this season:
- Coventry City - Arena Coventry (aka Foleshill—formerly known as Jaguar Arena; final name tbd)
- Swansea City - White Rock Stadium
National team
England will continue their qualifying campaign for the Football World Cup 2006, playing alongside fellow UK teams Wales and Northern Ireland in the European Group 6.
