The 31st century (Gregorian Calendar) comprises the years 3001-3100.

Fiction

  • The TV show Futurama mainly takes place in the first years of the 31st century, (3000-3006). In this series the head of Richard M Nixon wins the planetary election of 3000 and becomes president of Earth. He pursues an aggressive policy of worthless wars and corrupt tax rebates.
  • Preludio para el aņo 3001 is a tango by Astor Piazzolla with lyrics by Horacio Ferrer .
  • The Fox Home Entertainment movie Titan A.E. takes place in the early 31st Century.
  • The future M.E.G.A.S. of the animated series Megas XLR and her captor and remodeller are from this century.
  • The Webcomic Schlock Mercenary is set solely in the early 31st century, presumably beginning in the year 3000 and progressing to the current year of 3005. The recent introduction of time travel to the storyline may alter this, of course.
