3D Movie Maker

The 3D Movie Maker was a program created by Microsoft's "Microsoft Kids " subsidiary. The program can be found on Ebay and other online stores.

In the program, 3D Characters are placed in 3D environments, and from there the movie's content is up to the user. Users can give them actions, speech (using premade sounds or new ones using a computer microphone), add 3D words, sound effects, and do various other endeavors.

The game was not a great hit from the start and never got to be with the common people, but it is popular with the "3DMM Community." There, everyday, people make some kind of movie and release it.

Active websites include 3dmm Studio, Dragon Films, and 3dmm.com.
