764-Hero

764-Hero was an indie rock band from Seattle, Washington, signed to Up Records.

The original members were singer/guitarist John Atkins (also co-former of the band Magic Magicians) and drummer Polly Johnson, who both decided to name their band for a local auto-emergency company. The two members released an EP and one full album. For the second full length album, James Bertram, an ex-Lync member (another Seattle band) played bass guitar. The third album, Weekends of Sound included Bertram as well, and the band also added a keyboard player. Bertram left soon after, but was replaced by another bassist, and the band remained a four-member act.
