In the fictional Gundam Universe, the AMX-002 Neue Ziel (also called the AMA-X2 Nueu Ziel) is a mobile armour developed by Axis Engineers under the direction of Haman Karn. It was shipped out with the Axis Advanced Fleet when it departed for the earth sphere to support Admiral Aiguille Delaz and his fleet with Operation Stardust. When Anavel Gato visisted the Axis Fleet, the Axis Fleet's Admiral donated it to Gato so that he might overthrow the Earth Federation.

The AMX-002 Neue Ziel is an impressive Mobile Armour, equiped with mutiple missile launchers, four primary beam cannons, two detachable claw arms, and a beam deflecting I-field generator. It was utalized by Anavel Gato with great succsess, and fought against the RX-78GP03D Gundam Dendrobium. It was heavily damaged during the final stages of Operation Stardust, and was destroyed when Gato crash-landed into one of the Federation's Salamis class cruisers, destroying both the ship and the Neue Ziel, and killing Gato.
