AMF-101 DINN

The AMF-101 DINN is a mass production aerial combat mobile suit used by ZAFT during the Bloody Valentine War. The DINN is closely related to the commander type ZGMF-515 CGUE, but is much more lightly armored, in order to reduce weight for aerial combat. In flight, the DINN's wings extend and a helmet-like piece covers its head. The DINN is armed with the same heavy assault machinegun as the CGUE, as well as an anti-aircraft shotgun and four 6-tube missile launchers on its chest. Both of the DINN's guns have storage racks on the waist armor.

ZAFT also built an electronic warfare variant, the AME-WAC01 DINN Special Electronic Installation Type. This model is completely unarmed, replacing the standard DINN's missile launchers with cameras and its gun racks with additional sensors. In flight, the DINN Special Electronic Installation Type carries a large radome in its hands.

After the war, an enhanced reconnaissance model, the AMF-103A DINN RAVEN, is introduced. The DINN RAVEN's armament is identical to that of the standard DINN, but it has improved sensors and a Mirage Colloid cloaking system. While its ZAFT service was short-lived due to the Treaty of Junius ban on Mirage Colloid, one DINN RAVEN is used by freelance mercenary Kaite Madigan.
