Aberdare Athletic Football Club was replaced in the Football League by Torquay United F.C. after failing to be re-elected in 1927.

History

  • 1903-04 - Welsh Cup runner-up
  • 1904-05 - Welsh Cup runner-up
  • 1920-21 - Joined Southern League, Welsh Section. Runners up. Welsh League Champions
  • 1921-22 - Elected to Football League Division Three South
  • 1922-23 - Welsh Cup runner-up
  • 1923-24 - Welsh Cup semi-finalists
  • 1927 - Failed to be re-elected to Football League. Joined Southern League as Aberdare & Aberaman Athletic .
  • Best League position: 9th in 1926-27
  • Best FA Cup performance: 3rd round, 1925-26
