Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan(born on the 5th February 1976) is the son of legendary Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan. His mother is Jaya Bachchan. He entered Bollywood in the year of 2000.

Biography

Although Abhishek Bachchan made a strong debut in J.P. Dutta 's Refugee alongside Kareena Kapoor in 2000, the movie flopped. In a span of four years, Abhishek went on to do many movies, but all either flopped or did average business at the box-office. However, Yashraj Films 's Dhoom , starring Abhishek, alongside John Abraham, Uday Chopra, Rimii Sen and Esha Deol, released in 2004 and became a smash hit. Next, Abhishek is set to star in the Karan Johar directed film, alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Rani Mukherjee.

He was engaged to actress Karisma Kapoor, however, the two never wed.

Abhishek Bachchan has the goodwill of his father Amitabh (the grand superstar of Indian Cinema) and it is through this which has seen him through all his lean years in the industry. It is only in 2004 that the industry has witnessed the emergence of Abhishek as a star of the future. However time will stand testimony to his success.
