Abrasive
An abrasive is a usually very hard material that is used to smooth or to machine another through extensive rubbing. Some common examples of abrasive objects are:
- Borazon
- Carborundum
- Coated abrasives
- Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN)
- Diamond dust
- Emery (mineral) (impure corundum)
- Grinding wheel
- Powdered glass
- Pumice dust
- Sand
- Sandpaper
