Acolytes (comics)
The Acolytes were the name of a group of mutants who followed Magneto. Some were Acolytes because they supported Magneto's stance on mutant rights, others worshipped him with a religious fervor and regarded him as some sort of 'mutant messiah'.
Magneto housed them on his space station, Avalon, until it was destroyed by Holocaust.
Notable Acolytes include Colossus, Fabian Cortez, and Exodus.
