Ai Kago

Ai Kago (加護 亜依, Kago Ai, born February 7, 1988) is a member of W (Double You), a Japanese J-Pop duo group. She was born in Nara Prefecture, Japan. She is called "Kago-chan"(加護ちゃん) in general, and her fans, senior members of Morning Musume, and Nozomi Tsuji call her "Aibon"(あいぼん).

History

In 2000, she passed the audition, and joined as a fourth generation mamber of Morning Musume with Rika Ishikawa, Hitomi Yoshizawa , and Nozomi Tsuji. In June, she joined Tanpopo with Rika Ishikawa. In January, 2001, she formed Minimoni with Mari Yaguchi and Nozomi Tsuji. In September, 2002, she graduated from Tanpopo with Kaori Iida and Mari Yaguchi. In May, 2004, she formed W (Double U) with Nozomi Tsuji. On August 1, they graduated from Morning Musume.
