Al-Mustansir
Al-Mustansir was the Abbasid Caliph in Baghdad from 1226 to 1242. He was the son of az-Zahir and the grandson of an-Nasir. There is little said of him beyond that he was mild and virtuous. Like his father, he remained a symbolic Caliph with little political influence.
