Alan Sugar

Sir Alan Michael Sugar is a British businessman born on 24 March 1947. He left school at the age of 16 and went on to found an electronics and computer company Amstrad (the name being taken from his initials – Alan Michael Sugar Trading), and was at one time the chairman of Tottenham Hotspur F.C. He is a donor to the British Labour Party. In 2005 he stepped into Donald Trump's shoes in the BBC version of the hit American TV series, The Apprentice.

Despite owning a football club, he once compared football players to thugs and suggested that if they weren't playing professional football, most of them would be imprisoned.

Sir Alan Michael Sugar has an estimated fortune of £700 million.
