Alberto Maria De Agostini
Father Alberto Marķa de Agostini (2 November,1893 - 25 December,1960) born in Pollone , Piedmont was an italian missionary of the Salesianos order and a passionate mountaineer, explorer and geographer. He visited Tierra del Fuego and Patagonia, where he was the first person to climb several peaks for the first time. In addition he has left behind 22 written works and hundreds of beautiful photographs of the places he explored. He died in Torino on Christmas day 1960.
