Alejandro J. Fernandez (also called Alex Fernandez) (born 1986) is a native of Miami, Florida who, at the age of 14 started Holiday Charity for Camillus House, a Miami based homeless shelter. Holiday Charity is a volunteer initiative initially compromised of several leaders including Padre Alberto and Miami-Dade County, Florida|Miami-Dade County Mayor Alex Penelas.

In the summer of 2002, Fernandez organized a radio fundraising campaign for Camillus House, collecting over US$610 000. As a result of his dedication with organizations such as Missions in Haiti, Camillus House, Liga Contra el Cancer, Community Blood Centers of South Florida, Amnesty International (Gulliver Schools Chapter), and others, Fernandez was assigned as co-host of "Caridades en Accion", a social-affairs radio program played by WACC Radio Paz 830 AM in South Florida.

Saturday, December 20, 2003 was designated as "Holiday Charity for Camillus House Day" in Miami-Dade County by Mayor Alex Penelas and Commissioners Rebeca Sosay and Dr. Barbara Carey-Shuler.

In August, 2004, Fernandez was nominated and appointed as a member of Miami-Dade County's Affordable Housing Board.

Alex Fernandez has been an advocate for the poor and low income people through local and international media and is considered one of Miami's youngest and most enthusiastic community activists.
