Alejandro Rey
Alejandro Rey (February 8, 1930 - May 21, 1987) was an Argentine actor, born in Buenos Aires.
He became famous as an actor in Argentine movies before making the decision to emigrate to the United States in 1960. He was most famous for his roles in movies like Fun in Acapulco with Elvis Presley (1963) as well as the lead in The Stepmother (1972). On television, he was most famous for his role as Carlos Ramirez in The Flying Nun, a role he played from 1967 to 1970. In 1967, he became a naturalized citizen of the United States. He went on to play Karl Duval on Days of Our Lives, a role he played for two years, in 1976 and 1977.
He was married to Joyce Bowman since 1969 and had one son. He passed away in Los Angeles of lung cancer in 1987.
