Alewife (MBTA station)
Alewife Station, located at the intersection of Fresh Pond Parkway and Rindge Avenue in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is a local transportation hub. It is the northern terminus of the Boston subway's Red Line, and a bus terminal for several local routes. It opened on March 30, 1985. Its facilities include:
- A 2595-space multi-level parking garage with a direct connection to Route 2 at Exit 61
- Bicycle parking for 174 cycles
- Connections to the Minuteman Bikeway the Somerville Community Path and the little known Fitchburg Cutoff Rail Trail
- Pedestrian access to East Arlington, via the Minuteman Bike Path and Thorndike Street in Arlington
- A Bertucci's Pizza Resteraunt

- Alewife Reservation , a wetlands conservation area with walking trails, adjacent to the station on the north side.
- Russell Field and Danehy Park
- Fresh Pond Shopping Center and cinema
