Alfredo Kojima

Alfredo Kojima has been the lead developer of the Window Maker, the X11 window manager since 1997.

Kojima is also credited as the creator of the Synaptic package manager and, in collaboration with Claudio Matsuoka (another nipo-brazilian mate at Conectiva) ported the APT package manager to the RPM world --- previously, the APT suite was available only for Debian's DEB /dpkg format.
