Alimentation Couche-Tard, which means "food for those who go to bed late" in French, is the largest Canadian convenience store retailer, operating over 2,500 stores across Canada and in the United States. There are 680 stores in Quebec under the names Couche-Tard, Provi-Soir and Depanneur 7 jours; 1038 stores in Ontario and Western Canada under the names Macs Milk, Mike's Mart, Beckers Milk, Daisy Mart and Wink's. 580 stores operate in the Midwestern United States under the names of Mac's, Bigfoot, Handy Andy and Dairy Mart. Gas stations are located at 950 of these stores.

Alimentation Couche-Tard is headquartered in Laval, Quebec. It employs 17,200 people and had sales of $2.44 billion in fiscal 2002.
