Altenstadt, Hesse
Altenstadt is a municipality in Hessen, Germany, located some 27km north-east of Frankfurt am Main in the Nidder valley. It is part of the district Wetteraukreis. The limes, the former border of the Roman Empire, passes through the town.
The municipality compromises of the parts Altenstadt, Heegheim, Höchst an der Nidder, Lindheim [1], Enzheim [2], Oberau, Rodenbach and Waldsiedlung.
Atlantis, one of the largest brothels in Germany, is located in the industrial area Waldsiedlung.
