Amaravati
- In Hinduism, Amaravati (అమరావతి) is the capital of Svarga, a temporary paradise where the dead live. It is ruled by Indra and located on Mt. Meru.
- Amaravati is small town on the banks of river Krishna near Guntur City in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
- There is a buddhist monastery called Amaravati near London. It is near the Berkhamsted area.
- Amaravati is also the name of a web site created and maintained by linguist Dr. Marc Miyake.
