André Vingt-Trois
Mgr Armand André Vingt-Trois (b. November 7, 1942, Paris) has been Roman Catholic Archbishop of Paris since February 11 2005. He had been a priest and auxiliary bishop there before becoming Archbishop of Tours in 1999.
He is President of the Episcopal Commission of the Family .
Vingt-Trois was ordained as a priest on June 28, 1969 for the diocese of Paris, and became a bishop on October 14, 1988.
His name means "Twenty-Three" in French.
Vingt-Trois is the son of Armand Vingt-Trois and Mrs. Paulette Vuillamy.
