Anthem of Byelorussian SSR
The Anthem of the Byelorussian SSR was the national anthem of Belarus when it was an union republic in the USSR, used from 1955 to 1991. The music was composed by Nestar Sakalowski (Нестар Сакалоўскі), and the lyrics was written by Mihas' Klimovich (Міхась Клімковіч). The melody is used in the current national anthem of Belarus, with different lyrics.

- Разам шукалі к шчасцю дарог.
- Ў бітвах за волю, ў бітвах за долю
- З ёй здабылі мы сцяг перамог!
- Нас аб’яднала Леніна імя,
- Партыя к шчасцю вядзе нас ў паход.
- Партыі слава! Слава Радзіме!
- Слава табе, беларусі народ!
- Сілы гартуe, люд Бeларусі
- Ў братнім саюзe, ў мужнай сям’і
- Вeчна мы будзeм, вoльныя людзі,

- Партыя к шчасцю вядзе нас ў паход.

- Дружба нарoдаў – сіла нарoдаў,

English Translation (Verse 1)
- We, the Belorussians, together with the fraternal Rus',
- Looked for roads to fortune.
- In struggles for freedom, in struggles for fate,
- We have gained our banner of victories.

- We were united by the name of Lenin,
- The Party leads us in the quest to happiness
- Glory to the Party! Glory to the Motherland!
- Glory to you, Belarussian people!
