Apartment 3-G

Apartment 3-G is a comic strip about a trio of working women created by Nicholas P. Dallis which debuted on May 8, 1961.

The roommates are brunette Margo Magee, a talent agent , Tommy Thompson, a redhead who started out a nurse, Lu Ann Powers, a blonde teacher and widow of a US Air Force pilot. Their kindly neighbor Professor Aristotle Papagoras serves as a father figure.

Dr. Dallis, formerly a psychiatrist, also created the soap opera comic strips Rex Morgan, M.D. and Judge Parker. The strip's first artist was Alex Kotzky , who drew in a photorealistic style. After Dallis died in 1991, he wrote the strip as well until his own death in 1996.

The strip is now drawn by Frank Bolle and written by Lisa Trusiani .
