Apex
Apex may refer to one of the following.
- Apex is the pointed end of an object: the tip of a cone or a pyramid, or the highest point of a hill, etc.
- Apex is the tip of the spire of the shell of a gastropod.
- Apex was a pointed piece of olive-wood, the base of which was surrounded with a lock of wool, worn by Roman priests.
- Apex, North Carolina is a town in the United States.
- In travel industry, APEX stands for: Advance Purchase Excursion Fare. In reality it means that ticket has to be bought 30, 28, 21, 10, 07, 05 or 03 days before departure (in some cases 24 or 48 hours after reservation). Specific conditions are set by the individual travel agent.
- Apex Digital is a Canadian electronics manufacturer.
- Apex is also a racing title for Microsoft's Xbox video game console, released by Atari.
