Apple X11
Apple X11 is Apple Computer's implementation of the X Window System for Mac OS X. Apple's X11 implementation is based on XFree86 and adds support for hardware accelerated 2D graphics, hardware OpenGL acceleration and integration with Aqua, the Mac OS X GUI. Apple X11 was initially available as a downloadable public beta for Mac OS X v10.2 and is now a standard part of Mac OS X v10.3.
The source code for Apple X11 is available from Apple's Darwin Project under the Apple Public Source License. [1]
