Argun River, Asia
Argun (Russian: Аргу́нь) is the Russian name of a river which is a part of the Russia-China border. The Chinese (Pinyin) spelling of the name is Ergun He (Ergun river). It is also known as Hailar river. Its length is 1,007 mi (1,620 km).
The river flows from the Western slope of the Greater Khingan Range in Inner Mongolia. Its confluence with Shilka River forms the Amur River.
