Arsis (band)

Arsis is an American death metal band whose music also possesses influences of black metal and thrash metal. Although remaining as heavy as traditional death metal bands, they also possess technical riffs and solos that are similar to those found in melodic death metal.

Their debut album A Celebration of Guilt has been on many Top 10 lists of death metal releases for the year 2004.
