Artificial general intelligence
Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is a field distinguished from Artificial Intelligence by a whole-systems approach, and a goal of creating human-like intelligence rather than "smart" tools that only operate in well-defined domains.
Organizations pursuing AGI include Adaptive AI , Novamente and the Singularity Institute for Artificial Intelligence.
