Ashover Light Railway
Ashover Light Railway was a 1'11½" (60cm.) gauge railway in Derbyshire, England which ran from Clay Cross to Ashover . It was one of the Colonel Stephens Railways and opened in 1925 using four (later six) Baldwin class 10-12-D locomotives from War Department Light Railways. The passenger service was reduced in 1930 and withdrawn in 1936 but goods traffic continued until closure in 1950.
