Asian Latino

Asian Latino is a Latino of Asian or partial Asian ethnicity born in United States.

Only small percentage of Latinos have Asian descent. They are the descendants of Asian settlers who first settled Latin America as contract workers or coolies and others as refugees who were victims of World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, and Chinese Communist rule. Most Asian Latinos are of Chinese and Japanese descent, with some large numbers of Korean, Vietnamese, and Thai races. Most of them came from Brazil, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Panama, Peru, and Puerto Rico, while others from Costa Rica and Nicaragua. They live in cities with Asian and Latino communities, like Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, and San Diego.
