Assyrian Genocide

The Assyrian Genocide (ܩܛܠܥܡܐ ܕܐܬܘܪܝܶܐ) was a genocide against the Assyrian population of North Mesopotamia, at that time The Ottoman Empire in the years 1914-1922. It was committed by the Turks and the Kurds and arranged by the turks alone. 500 000-750 000 Assyrians were killed.

The genocide has til this day not been recognized by Turkey or any government of the world.

Armenians and Greeks were also massacred.

Massacres which took Place in the Assyrian Villages in 1915 The following villages were attacked and their Assyrian inhabitants killed. The number of the casualties is unknown.
