Au Pairs
The Au Pairs were a post punk group in the style of Gang of Four. Like the former band, they played a stripped down punk/funk hybrid with a focus on politics and social structures; They drew attention particularly due to the novel perspective of their frontwoman, Lesley Woods, an ardent feminist and lesbian. Nonetheless, they are little known outside the realms of post punk fandom.
