Audley Harrison
Audley Harrison is a Heavyweight boxer. He was born on October 26, 1971 in London. He was the first Briton to win the Gold Medal at the Superheavyweight division since its inception in 1984. He was also the first Briton to take the gold in boxing in 32 years, and the first at the highest weight class since 1920.
He turned professional soon after his Olympic victory, however his progress through the ranks has been carefully guided and therefore slow. As of the beginning of 2005, his professional ring record is 17 wins (12 by knockout) in 17 contests. He also holds the fringe WBF Heavyweight championship belt as of 2005. He won the title via fourth round knockout of Dutchman Richel Hersisia on March 20, 2004 at Wembley Arena in London.
