Australia at the 2000 Summer Olympics
Australia competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. It was the twenty-fourth time that the nation had competed, being one of only three nations that had competed in every Summer Olympics to that point. Australia competed under the IOC country code AUS.

At the inaugural Olympic triathlon competition, Australia was represented by three men and three women. The women earned a silver medal as well as having two other athletes place in the top ten. The men added another top ten finish.

- Nicole Hackett - 2:03:10.81 (9th place)
