Geography
The district includes all of the Avalon Peninsula, except for Bell Island, and the St. John's area. Communities include Conception Bay South (part), Bay Roberts , Carbonear , Placentia, Harbour Grace , Spaniard's Bay , Holyrood, and Upper Island Cove The area is 9,335 sq. km.
History
The electoral district was created in 2003 from 57.6% of Bonavista—Trinity—Conception , 21.9% of St. John's West 20.5% of St. John's East.
