Aymaran languages
The Aymaran languages are a South American language family. It includes the Aymara language, also called Central Aymara, which has approximately 2.2 million speakers; 1.7 million in Bolivia, 350,000 in Peru, and the rest in Chile and Argentina. Southern Aymara, spoken in southern Peru, is considered by some to be a dialect of Central Aymara, and by others to be a separate language. Jaqaru has approximately 2000 speakers in central Peru.
