The twin engined BAe 125 is the world's best selling mid-size corporate jet, now marketed as the Raytheon Hawker 800.

The aircraft was first built by the De Havilland company in 1962. De Havilland then became part of the Hawker-Siddeley group, itself merged into British Aerospace in 1977. British Aerospace sold its Business Jets Division to the Raytheon Corporation in 1993. The jet has therefore been known successively as the De Havilland 125, the Hawker-Siddeley 125, the BAe 125 and the Raytheon Hawker 800. A version used for training military navigators is known in RAF service as the Dominie, a name once attached to Dragon Rapides in RAF service.

The aircraft more typically carries six to ten passengers with a maximum capacity of fourteen. The latest variant is powered by the Honeywell TFE731 turbofans.
