Badmotorfinger is the third album by the band Soundgarden. It was released in 1991 (see 1991 in music).
A limited edition of the album was available with a second CD, Satanoscillatemymetallicsonatas (or SOMMS). For their cover of "Into The Void", Ben Shepherd had noticed that the words of protest against the white man by Chief Sealth fit the metre of the song. The full SOMMS title is a palindrome (it reads the same forward and backwards), alleged to be the longest such at the time.
"Room A Thousand Years Wide" was released as a single, but not to promote the album. It was released (with "HIV Baby") as a 7" through Sub Pop's Single Of The Month club.
