Baldwinian evolution
Baldwinian evolution is a theory proposed by United States psychologist James Mark Baldwin which states that organisms can pass on learned abilities to their offspring.
The contrast is Lamarckian evolution, a theory which proposed that organisms can pass on acquired traits.
