Bankstown, New South Wales

Bankstown is a major suburb in the south-west of Sydney, Australia. It is the site of Sydney's second airport, Bankstown Airport , and holds an extensive and large shopping centre (mall), Centro Bankstown. Bankstown is also home to a large ethnic Lebanese community. In the 2000 Olympic Games held in Sydney, the suburb of Bansktown contained the velodrome for the Olympic cycling events.
