Barbara Dare
Barbara Dare (born Stacy Mitnick February 27, 1965, New Jersey) is a porn star.
She entered the pornographic movie industry in 1986 and quickly became one of the leading ladies of porn throughout the late 1980s. She starred in over 100 features in her career. Dare was led to porn by her swinging lifestyle in NYC's Plato's Retreat . She became such a fixture at Plato's in the early eighties that she was named Miss Plato's.
Dare was one of the first porn stars to sign an exclusive contract with a production company; In her case, it was a $100,000 deal with Essex Video . Dare retired briefly from porn in the early nineties and returned to Essex in 1993 for a short stint in public relations. She now strips professionally across the U.S. and Canada.
