Barbro Holmberg

Barbro Holmberg (born April 7, 1952, Stensele, Lappland , Sweden) is a Swedish Social Democratic politician. Since October 10, 2003 she has been Minister for Migration and Asylum Policy in the Swedish Government.

She has a degree in social work from the Department of Social Work, Stockholm University.


She has been married twice. Her marriage with radio journalist Thomas Nordegren produced three children - one son, Axel and twin daughters Elin and Josefin. Elin is married to Tiger Woods which makes her Tiger Woods' mother-in-law.
